Maybe sometimes it has to take something close to home like one of your best mates to do something for you to realise that maybe it wasn’t all that great. Or that things were always doomed but you never had a chance, but because your ego is so big you choose not to accept it.

There are things you can’t change, and mates you do eventually leave, and girls you end up never talking to again. 
But that shouldn’t stop you from being happy.
